Regenerate reuses discarded materials to create a wall, a social special and letters that spell the word “regenerate”. Wood pallets, bike parts, wire, rope, fishing net, plastic bottles are some of the elements that will be assembled together for this installation.
This is a collaboration with Vancouver Design Nerds, Gen Why Media, eatART, Vancouver Community Laboratory and some amazing individuals.
The project also aims to create a public space around it. In this manner the installation piece becomes an inhabitable space that contributes to social interaction and engagement.
Regenerate welcomed the thousands of attendees at 2011 Vancouver Maker Faire and is now a permanent installation at Purple Thistle in Vancouver, British Columbia.
